Rural Revival
DNA Portugal aims to combat rural depopulation by harnessing the power of remote work. Our mission is twofold:
- Empower local residents: We strive to enhance job prospects for those already living in rural areas, providing them with opportunities to build fulfilling careers without leaving their communities.
- Attract new residents: By showcasing the benefits of rural living combined with remote work possibilities, we seek to draw in new inhabitants to revitalize these areas.
Through these efforts, DNA Portugal is committed to reversing the trend of rural exodus, fostering economic growth, and preserving the unique cultural heritage of Portugal’s countryside.
Eco-Education
- Greenfest & Bluefest: 3-day sustainability festivals showcasing eco-friendly brands, offering workshops, and inspiring environmental awareness through interactive experiences.
- Academia G: Online school providing comprehensive courses on sustainability, allowing flexible learning about environmental issues and solutions.
- Clube do Impacto: Emerging community for green sustainability professionals, facilitating networking and collaboration to drive environmental change.
These initiatives collectively form an ecosystem promoting eco-education and empowering individuals to embrace sustainable practices.
Civic Participation
I’ve joined Volt Europa because I felt aligned with it’s vision of a more united Europe, where even less “borders” are present.
- Pan-European cooperation: Active in over 30 countries, we encourage citizens to reshape politics locally tackling challenges with realistic, forward-thinking proposals.
